Well established law firm with a history of being a leader in providing sophisticated legal services to corporations is searching for an Intellectual Property (IP)/Patent Attorney to join its respected IP Practice Group in Washington, D.C. The duties for this IP/Patent Attorney position will focus on all phases of patent litigation, including pre-trial, deposition preparation, arguing motions, claims construction, and discovery management before Federal District Court and International Trade Commission (ITC).

Requirements:

• 2+ years patent litigation experience as an attorney in a law firm setting either in Federal District Court and/or ITC proceedings.
• Experience with business method patents, computer technologies, pharmaceuticals and/or medical devices are preferred.
• Active bar admission is required with the ability to waive into Washington, D.C.; Patent bar membership is plus.
• Strong law school credentials with excellent research, verbal & written communication skills required.
• Undergraduate degree in the Chemistry or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• A high level of professionalism and outstanding business judgment.
