Employee Benefits Attorney

Full service, corporate law firm that is devoted to providing world class representation in employment and labor law matters, is in search for an experienced Employee Benefits Attorney to join its Compensation, Benefits & ERISA Litigation Practice Group in Washington, D.C. This Employee Benefits Attorney position will focus on employee benefits administration and compliance matters including qualified and non-qualified plans, health and welfare plans, mergers and acquisitions and incentive equity arrangements. In House Attorneys, as well as, Of Counsel candidates are also encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years relevant attorney experience with an emphasis on Employee Benefits Administration and Compliance is required.
  • Law firm experience preferred; attorneys working in-house with a background in Employee Benefits Administration will be considered.
  • Juris Doctorate degree and admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction with the ability to be barred in the District of Columbia is required.
  • Must have excellent academic credentials as well as strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
